Interclean Amsterdam 2026: Mar Plast transforms its stand into an “art exhibition”!

The Netherlands is a fertile land for art and the homeland of many great painters, including (to name just a few) Rembrandt, Vermeer, Bosch, Mondrian and, of course, the beloved Van Gogh.

It is precisely in Amsterdam, home to the Van Gogh Museum, that Interclean, one of the world’s leading B2B trade shows for professional cleaning, hygiene and facility services, will take place from April 14 to 17, 2026.

For the occasion, Mar Plast has chosen to create a themed stand entirely inspired by the world of art.
Our dispensers will be displayed inside “paintings”: theatrical frames that will transform them into works of art to admire… and to use every day.

Each Mar Plast collection has been paired with an internationally renowned artistic movement. Let’s explore them together!

When colour tells the story of Italy: Ecolored meets the Macchiaioli

For the Ecolored dispenser line which includes six colour variations inspired by Italian landscapes, we chose a reference to the Macchiaioli, an Italian artistic movement.

With its Sienna-like copper tone, the Ecolored Sienna Copper dispenser, for example, perfectly echoes the aesthetic of the Macchiaioli: rich, material colours inspired by nature, in this case, the earthy tones typical of the Tuscan landscape.

This association also celebrates the Italian identity of the brand and the value of Made in Italy, since at Mar Plast every stage of production is carried out internally.

Skin line and Bauhaus: the beauty of essentials

We paired the Skin line with the Bauhaus school, which developed in Germany after the First World War.

The core idea of Bauhaus was simple yet revolutionary: bringing art into everyday life by creating forms that are beautiful because they are functional, and suitable for industrial production.

The Skin line, made from pre- and post-consumer recycled plastic, clearly reflects this Bauhaus philosophy: it is essential, clean and concrete. No frills. Form follows function.

Sand & Stone and Art Informel: the touch of sand and the roughness of stone

The Sand & Stone series was imagined as an interpretation of Art Informel, a post-war artistic movement where the protagonist is not only the image but also the material itself.

“Material-based art” means that the artwork goes beyond colour on canvas and incorporates or evokes, real materials and physical processes.

The Sand & Stone dispensers feature a distinctive textured, granular surface.
To the touch they provide a rough, natural sensation reminiscent of sand grains and stone surfaces.

The Surrealism of everyday life: a sanitary dispenser challenging body censorship

For the Artemis feminine hygiene dispensers, we drew inspiration from Surrealism.

Surrealism brings to light everything society tends to censor or remove: desire, the body, taboos and what belongs to the unconscious sphere.

For centuries, the menstrual cycle has been treated in exactly this way, invisible, confined to something that should remain hidden.

The sanitary dispenser therefore becomes a surrealist object in the strongest and most concrete sense: it makes visible what for a long time was excluded from view.

Mar Plast technological research and Futurism

Mar Plast’s technological developments are associated with the avant-garde spirit of Futurism, an artistic movement born in Italy in the early 20th century that celebrates modernity, machines, speed and energy.

At Interclean Amsterdam we will present our most advanced solutions, including automatic dispensers and the new SmartMP system, which allows real-time monitoring of refill levels, enabling precise service planning and avoiding unnecessary checks.

There will also be new surprises…

During Interclean Amsterdam 2026, visitors will receive original gadgets inspired by the entrance tickets of real art exhibitions, complete with an integrated QR code.

Several brand-new products will also make their debut, although we won’t reveal the details just yet… you’ll discover them directly at the exhibition!
